It looks to me like the kids are in adult, parenting roles and the adults are the teenagers. Listening to the kids talk candidly about adult issues and being manipulated is heartbreaking, in contrast to the dad...I would never guess he was a father by the way he carries himself. It took me 30+ years to figure out some of the stuff that Danielle talks about in this video. This is so sad. Kids should never get in the middle of parents disagreements. When they grow up and mature, there is going to be a lot of pain. The mother has started this, and now she is setting back enjoying this mess. She had control over how they interacted with their dad. She has involved the kids.

also here's another thing to consider. when kids are small, they will remember trauma in their own ways. sometimes its "real" other times it's not. either way, it is still real to them. children can also be brainwashed into thinking a trauma occurred when it didn't (this happened to me bc my mom's condition). for adults to criticize children, or young adults (newly turned adults who don't have the experience of actually being a grown adult yet), over he-said-she-said when it relates to highly emotional situations/trauma is in poor taste, especially when done on the internet. Instead of criticizing them because their reality isn't matching yours, maybe listen to them and their narrative. like this ish is actually insane. like why can't adults be adults and allow children to be children? and love those children and listen to them while not criticizing/calling them out/etc on the friggin internet

I went through the same situation when I was 14-15. My father tried to get custody of me and my brother. My father was never around, He didn't want to pay child support. In short my mother won, and I haven't been in touch with him since, im 26 now. It was the best decision. I really feel for this girl....

Tbh I feel bad for Danielle. Her mother and father probably argued a lot and didn’t get validation from her father and is now trying to act older because she had to grow up as a child. She probably is being manipulated by her mother and wants out but can’t without it going all over the internet. Neither parent deserve her. I hope when she actually turns 18 she can get away and live as normal as possible.
