Student DARES Teachers to Test Their Diamond Wedding Ring, Sparks CHAOS

14 898
A TikToker has gone viral for testing diamond jewellery on teachers and people aren't sure what to think.
On September 21, a TikToker named Jexif, also known as DiamondTesterKid, posted a TikTok video testing his teacher's wedding ring to see if it was real.
The TikTok has since gained over 900,000 likes and has millions of views.
Because of the traction, Jexif continued testing all of his teachers' diamond jewellery.

he is triggering problems within couples, just because you and I aren't building a superstitious relationship, doesn't give us the right to police others or ruin relationships and say "serves him/her right for not being honest". that is not our business to intervene and shatter what was built, without knowing the reasons behind it.

Its not about the ring. Its about who's wearing the ring. Love is way pass money and objects. Love is what keeps you happy and going. Dont let one thing that cost the most destroy your connection or some sort of kinship.

Ngl if I wear a piece of jewelry thinking it's an expensive ston and later after so many years I find out it's fake..I would be mad..but obviously I won't break the marriage. That's extreme.

What’ll you do if you divorce? Rings can be removed quite easily, a tattoo no so much. Assuming that would happen of course.

I wouldn’t necessarily be mad if I discovered something like this to be true. I would just express that I would have appreciated if I had known but that it does not represent the true love of the relationship. I would express that it is understandable that paying that much for a diamond can be ridiculous and unaffordable. If that person was just honest in the first place about not being able to afford or wanting to spend an absurd amount of money on a literal rock I would understand.

Am I the only one who doesn’t care if it’s real or not? The sentimental value is worth way more. Why spend like $2000 on a ring when we could just use that to put it towards a nice trip or something. Idk about y’all but I would love anything my boyfriend could give me. Real or not. We put so much value into material that we lose touch of what it means ..

diamond prices are the biggest scam of the century. unless you have a 1ct diamond or larger, most places will give you NOTHING except the gold value (usually 40% of market value) when you try to sell that ring. As soon as the ring is bought, the diamond value plummets (kinda like a new cars value) to near zero unless you have a very high grade or rare type diamond. The issue though is about trust, and not being honest about the ring is a bad start to any relationship. that being said, I don't think its right for women to EXPECT a big ol shiney boulder for a ring - a marriage is between two people and BOTH people should get rings that make them happy even if they they are simple gold (or even silver) bands. Giving a women a $4000-$10000 or more ring just reinforces the stereotype of "the male provider" and while it may have been fine in the 1930's, I hope society has evolved to the point of being more balanced for both partners.

Yoo I'm a senior in geology studies and I find this so fascinating! If I had to guess what device he's using it's probably a hardness detector which is how he can be sure if it's glas or some other gemstone. If you want to try something similar, get a piece of glass like a drinking glas aand try to scratch it with your ring. If the glass scratches , it's at the least a hard rock and not glass, it could be a diamond, quartz sapphire, etc. If it doesn't scratch the glass welp you don't got a diamond honey
